The Nutritional Edge is a supervised, medically approved, 30-day self-help program designed to educate and give you the tools necessary to succeed and achieve the body you have always wanted. The time has come to take your health into your own hands.


What makes this program different is that it is not a diet. Diets don’t work because they are a temporary fix for a life-long activity. We eat anywhere from three to five times a day. That means we have the opportunity to make healthy nourishing choices three to five times a day or for most of the population just the opposite. According to data from the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES III), one in three or 58 million American adults aged 20-74 are overweight. Being overweight is a known risk factor for diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, gallbladder disease, arthritis, breathing problems, and some forms of cancer.


Maybe you have suffered your whole life with the roller coaster of gaining and losing weight over and over again, or maybe you have just become more sedentary as the years have passed by. Well the good news is that you have the ability to look and feel as good as you want all you have to do is give yourself permission and get educated.


The Edge Nutritional Program consists of four weeks:

  1. Week 1 is a 60 minute initial consultation consisting of:

    • Goal assessment
    • Blood pressure reading
    • Tape measurements
    • Weight measurement
    • Body fat analysis
    • BMI calculation
    • Protein Intake requirement
    • Before Picture
    • Program overview with take home Program/journal

  2. Week 2 and 3 consist of a 20 minute follow up

  3. Week 4 is a 30 minute follow up with a re-measurement of:

    • Tape measurements
    • Body Fat measurement
    • Blood Pressure


Additional months are available for those wishing to lose more weight and who need additional guidance.


In addition to this, Edge Pilates is offering a Fitness and Nutrition Consultation for members of the studio wishing to assess their baseline information without taking part in the entire program.
